What is deleted
- Deleted: cloud account sessions, encrypted learning backup files in the cloud, and backup metadata linked to the account.
- Not deleted automatically: vocabulary cards, training history, and camera photos stored on your device (until you uninstall the app or clear them on the device).
- We do not store your restore passphrase in plaintext. After deletion, ciphertext backups can no longer be downloaded.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open Engrowth → bottom tab My → Data.
- If needed, sign in with Sign in with Apple for cloud restore.
- Tap Delete cloud account & backups.
- Confirm in the dialog. After success, signing in again creates a new cloud account.
Delete by email
If you cannot open the app, email shiyongjuan323@gmail.com with subject Engrowth account deletion. Include the Apple Sign In email you used (it may be a Private Relay address) and approximate signup time. We will process server data reasonably linked to your request after verification.
Local learning data
Deleting the cloud account does not clear cards on your phone. To clear on-device cards, training history, and review state without uninstalling: My → Data → Clear all on-device learning data. Uninstalling the app also removes app-sandbox data (including automatic local backups). If you may need the data later, export an offline encrypted backup to Files first.
